“History is HUGE.”

I’m based in the South East, which means Martello towers, airshows, and more 1804 brickwork than is strictly reasonable. The daily shorts are the heartbeat. The long-form is where we sit down properly — Churchill in full, Waterloo, forgotten voices from 1940.

The tone is personal, humorous, and only slightly irreverent. We take the dead seriously. We do not take ourselves that seriously. Longer essays live on Substack. If a coffee keeps the camera charged, there is a jar for that too.
